You are going to love me for this one.

Hey Jellybeans,

Is this cool or what??? You can make your own graffiti art using this site, GraffitiCreator.Net (It is super easy to use)

I found out about it from GraemeW in Mr. Malandrakis's 20s Computer Science class.

Hey Jellybeans,

Thanks to Jason D. I have a new word - "Telepathetic" - I like it, it's good.

Ever wonder if the computer can see you? Or read your mind? Well, check this out.

See if you can find the "pattern". After all, if it's math, there has to be a pattern.

Banking Project - Due: Friday Feb. 17

Hello Jellybeans,

Are you ready to learn all about banking?? The assignment that you are about to begin will involve researching the types of accounts and services that are available through your local bank. You will be using a document produced by the Canadian Banking Association to help guide you through the different features that distinguish various accounts. Pay attention to the vocabulary that is used. If you do not understand a word, check the glossary at the end of the document.

Happy Banking,
Ms. Armstrong

Show me the money!!

Hey Jellybeans,

Here's a game that you can play to practice making change. You can work your way up from easy to super hard levels but make sure you choose the Canadian Currency.

If you are curious, you can find out what Mexican pesos, English pounds, Australian dollars, and American dollars look like. Check it out and try giving change in different currencies. You never know where life may take you.

Have fun!

What am I supposed to write about?

Hello jellybeans,

So... it's your turn to be the class scribe and you're not quite sure what to do. Sound about right??

Well, try answering these questions in your scribe post:
  1. What did we do in class today?
  2. What did we learn during these activities?
  3. Was this new information or something I've seen in math or another class before?
  4. Was the material difficult or easy to understand?
  5. Is there something that I still don't understand and could ask my classmates to explain?
  6. Did anything else happen during class that would be fun to keep a record of?

Have fun, be creative, and remember this is a public forum. What you write represents yourself, your classmates, your teacher, and your school so blog responsibly and safely.

  2. Is this material too hard, too easy, or just right for you?
  3. Where have you seen these topics before?
  4. Can you think of a time when it may have been helpful for you to use this type of calculation?
